Test Management

Verona-TM simplifies the process of creating test cases, test planning and tracking the status of test case execution. Verona-TM is fully integrated with Verona Requirements Management and Defect Management to ensure full lifecycle visibility and traceability.

Test Case Capture

Test cases comprise a number of fields used to store various aspects about the test case such as test objective, expected results, hardware/software required etc. Users can create their own user-defined fields and templates. Because test cases are linked to one or more requirements, the reporting module can be used to quickly identify gaps in test coverage. Test cases are stored in a database, where they can be maintained and re-used over time. Test cases can be selected from this repository to create test plans. Test Case Templates: capture multiple attributes: titles, descriptions, customer information, priorities, implementation status.

Test Planning

Bulk import existing test cases from the test library, or create new test cases to make up a test plan. Use the test case cloning functions to quickly create groups of similar test cases. Create one or multiple test plans for each project. Test plans can be created for any level of testing: Unit, Feature or System-Level.

Test Execution

Create Test Runs (subsets of the test plan), assign testers and priorities. Testers run the test cases and log status (Pass, Fail, Blocked, etc), together with and bugs/defects observed in the product.

Test Reports

View comprehensive reporting with charts. Display test status by overall test plan or each individual test run. Generate email alerts for key events such as test cases status updates, new test cases created or cloned.

Requirements Traceability

Intgegrates with the Verona-RM application so that test cases can be linked back to product requirements or individual features. Ensure you have complete test coverage for every deliverable in the project.
